Vineyards

The vineyards are covering 4,5 hectares. They are in different locations around Mád. Broad variety of the soil composition, exposition of the slopes and our policy to restrict grapes load for the vine, gives us possibility to pick the best fruit for our handcrafted wines.

Area: 0,9 hectare

Exposition: SSW

Soil: complex clay blended with hard rhyolit stones, smaller and bigger rocks, covered by red iron oxide The surface of these stones has been painted red by iron oxide.

Soil: Abrasive white tuff with zeolite, with the lowest part composed of red clay. Red ferrous oxide soil of high clay content, with scattered highly quartzitic and rhyolitic islands.

Exposition: SSW

Soil: brown forest soil with rhyolite tuff at higher points, ferrous oxide soil of looser structure, rich in zeolite minerals. On minor areas surface andesite rock cuttings can be found.
